Maxwell – He’s a dude!
What’s the story?
Maxwell is our resident rescue cat. He came to us two years ago from a rescue centre in Devon. The centre described him as ‘A bit of a dude with attitude’. He certainly is both and usually manages to get a smile on our face with the positions he manages to get himself into. I caught him here looking so comfortable, sleeping on a shoe.
Wedding at Llansantfraed Court
I posted a few weeks ago about a wedding that I was photographing at this venue which went really well. The couple are due back from their honeymoon today and I have an online album ready for them to view. They were really photogenic and had a gorgeous rescue dog that was, almost, the star of the show. Here’s one of my favourite shots. I’ll update with a few more when the bride has seen the album.
RDP Law – Corporate Lawyers
What’s the story?
Following the recruitment of some additional personnel and a refresh of their website RDP Law, Newport based Corporate Lawyers, needed some photographs of their new employees to show off on their website. I was more than happy to help out and here’s some results:
Big, Bright and Beautiful
What’s the story?
As part of my glass upgrade, I’ve recently acquired a Canon 70-200 2.8L IS USM lens. I’d thought about it for a long time and definitely don’t regret my decision to make the purchase.
Although it is by far the biggest and heaviest lens that I own, it is beautifully engineered. The brightness through the viewfinder is staggering, the focus very quick and accurate and it’s a pleasure to hold and take photographs with.
Here are a couple on shots that I grabbed today. Just take a look at the sharpness and notice how shallow the depth of field is on Roxy (the dog’s) eyes.
Llansantfraed Court
I’m really looking forward to the wedding of Naomi and Iwan on the 8th May. They are a lovely couple and they’ve chosen a fantastic venue for their reception, Llansantfraed Court, just outside Abergavenny in Monmouthshire.
I called by the other day to take a good look and to work out some of the potential photo vantage points. The building is just magnificent and the surrounding grounds looked beautiful and I thought it would be worth publishing a few images here…
