About Andy Harcombe

“There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs”.  Ansel Adams (American photographer 1902-1984)

Andy Harcombe takes good photographs. Actually, clients are more likely to say that Andy takes great photographs. As Ansel Adams says, there are no rules… but Andy has all the ingredients…

A great photo of a person is as much about the immediate and warm relationship that Andy can form with that person. It is also about being a great observer of people, having reliable and high quality equipment and always being on the look out for that wonderful moment and being quick and ready to capture it.

A great photo of a group of people is about rapport with all of them and the confidence to tell them what they need to do for Andy to snap a great shot. Andy has worked for corporations and national PR companies at events like the FA Cup Final, the Heineken Cup final, Bentley client days, Six Nations rugby events and the Wooden Spoon Society charity golf tournament at the home of the 2010 Ryder Cup. Andy can ‘round up’ a dozen merry Scots in kilts, and get a wonderful Six Nations photo and he capture the moment a child meets their sporting hero. With such a range of experience as this, Andy can manage any photography need that you may have with ease.

Andy also has a studio in-between Chepstow and Newport, if you would like any photos taken in a relaxed, but professional setting.

Remember, all photos that Andy takes can be given to you on a disc. You won’t have the impossible task of trying to pick your favourite ‘twenty’ for an album – you can have them all. And you won’t need to incur large additional sums paying for pricey prints.

If you want a warm, friendly, confident, flexible, intelligent and creative photographer for your wedding, or family photos, or corporate portfolio, or major event, you will not regret booking Andy.

“You don't take a photograph, you make it”.  Ansel Adams
